In March 2018, I was one of 40 in our region to be recognized in the United Way 40 Leaders under 40 awards; I received this award in short for my dedication and commitment to our region. I believe firmly in volunteerism and have served on various boards and committees that represent particular causes I am passionate about. My most recent volunteer work has been with the following organizations

  • Mentor, FIRST Robotics, New Beginnings Team 6202
  • Vice President, Windsor-Essex Red Shoe Society
  • Program Volunteer, Ronald McDonald House Windsor
  • Board of Directors, Windsor Music Archive
  • Co-Chair of the Windsor-Essex Music Advisory Council
  • 2017 Judge for the Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund
  • Director, Board of Directors for HackForge
  • Executive Member, Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leaders
  • United Way Emerging Philanthropists
  • Member, WorkForce WindsorEssex Technology Employment Planning Roundtable

A Passionate, Collaborative Thinker

I think taking a look at what I'm involved in is a great way to get a real sense of my actual values.

They are firmly rooted in:

- Community Health - Education and Stem Learning - Arts and Culture -

-Sustainable Economic Development for our Region-

Above all else, I value and believe in this city's ability to shine and be innovative. As a city, Windsor is pure potential, and after 126 years of making and creating, I believe we are only just getting started.

Off Hours...

When I'm not working,  where are you most likely to find me? The answer is almost always with my family. I've made a career out of developing reliable, trusting, and functional relationships, and while professional connections are vital, personal connections are the fuel that keeps me going. I have been married now for two years to my wife Bethany, the most thoughtful and supportive person I've ever met (and also the best campaign manager a guy could ask for!) and we have a wonderful Beagle named Louie, who continually reminds us to look at everything as a new adventure to be explored and embraced!
